We have just received notice from Norfolk County Council that, owing to a gas leak, the use by vehicles of Waveney Drive from its junction with A1151 Stalham Road to its junction with Waveney Close will be temporarily prohibited from 4th July 2019 to 11th July 2019 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 8 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.
Alternative route is via A1151 Stalham Road, Albion Way, Waveney Drive.
Please be aware that local rolling road closures, affecting Hoveton and Wroxham, will be taking place this Sunday, 30th June during the Great British Cycling Festival. Further information, including a full list of road closures, has been provided by the Eastern Daily Press.

If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.
Alternative route is via Church Road, A1062 Horning Road, A1151 Stalham Road/Norwich Road, Church Road.
Hoveton Parish Council has received notice that Norfolk County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the Horning Road A1062 from a point 275 metres east of its junction with the U19246 Church Road for a distance of 250 metres eastwards because of construction works. The road will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction from 13th May 2019 to 20th December 2019 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 221 days within the period. If you will be travelling between Hoveton and Ludham on Monday 13th May, please be aware that Norfolk County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting A1062 Norwich Road from a point 290 metres northeast of its junction with U19061 School Road for a distance of 40 metres north eastwards in the parish of Ludham because of works to connect a new water supply. The road will be temporarily closed (except for access only) between 19:00 and 23:59 hours on 13th May 2019 for the duration of the works. View the alternative route.
