Parish Elections 2019

As many Hoveton residents will be aware, elections for North Norfolk District Council are due to take place on 2nd May 2019, but what you may not know is that this date coincides with Parish Council elections, which take place every four years. If you care about Hoveton and are passionate about your local community, why not consider standing as a candidate in these elections?

An information evening for election candidates is due to be held at North Norfolk District Council’s offices (Holt Road, Cromer, NR27 9EN) at 6pm on Monday 4th March for Parish Council candidates, and on Thursday 7th March for District Council candidates. The evening will last approximately one hour, depending on questions, and will cover topics such as the election timetable, the nominations process and paperwork, eligibility to stand, and postal voting and count arrangements. These briefings are open to anyone interested in standing as a candidate in the upcoming elections. Anyone planning to attend is asked to inform the NNDC Elections Team on [email protected] or 01263 516266.
